In the beginning... Leon Desrochers
was one of the founders and the driving force behind
the consistent growth of Leon's Insulation, (which can
trace its roots back to 1956), until the next
generation took over in 1984. At that time, Dan
Desrochers and Linda Dunbar purchased the active
business from their father and made a commitment to
continue the tradition of excellence and service to
the industry that their father had established as the
cornerstone of his business.
During the subsequent eleven years, Leon's Insulation
gained market share and influence. They also have
adopted new product lines (drywall and related
products) and successfully opened new locations. In
the Spring of 2005, this family owned and operated
business caught the focused attention of Superior
Plus LP. The rest is history. This new Leon's
Insulation, now a division of Superior Plus LP,
embraces two rich 'traditions of excellence' as its
looks to embrace a future full of opportunity.
